When September comes around………….

Is your light shining brightly? After months of dullness it’s time to sparkle and revel again, let’s begin to peel away the layers that we have barricaded ourselves in and make way for new experiences, fresh ideas and transformation into this new way of living.

Breaking free from old habits and structure is scary, it will take you to places you’ve not been before but the impact of connecting with yourself is a force that will ignite that inner energy column and propel you into another world.

There is no better time to learn how to meditate, it’s not just for us hardcore tree huggers, shamanic drummers and turnip shoe wearers it is an essential life skill that everyone should engage with in their lifetime.

Take your pick on how and where, then practice everyday and keep practicing until you feel the change.

I’m offering both online and live meditation sessions, online courses and workshops to help guide you to fulfilment and freedom, start at the beginning and keep things simple, work with what you have and build as you flow.

Time for a break

I just wrote my last post for a few weeks and it dawned on me that this has been the longest period of time I’ve worked without taking a break, it’s also been the longest time since I’ve been anywhere really. However I have been lucky enough to enjoy my open water swimming, connect with loads of new people online, I’ve enjoyed a virtual forest bath, Reggae yoga and took part in a Global healing meditation, I’ve also completed 2 courses and made a good start with a third, even though I thought I was coasting along through this pandemic I’ve actually done quite a lot on reflection.

Anyway….I’m taking a break until September, I’m going exploring in forgotten trails that tripped me into a new life many moons ago, where I found love, strength and a rock. I’ll be breathing in the air that once filled my lungs so deeply I never thought I could leave and when I did I realised a part of that air would always stay with me.

I’m hoping for tastes, textures, adventure and more, I need to refill my tank that has been approaching empty, watch the sun rise, read, create, run, swim, cycle and just flow through the days with the energy I have.

Then I’ll be ready for September! I need to be with so much going on, I have new courses, workshops and a new online meditation session. My work has adapted so much over the past 6 months but I pleased with how it’s flowing and I’m looking forward to the next 6 months.

Summer solstice 2020

I’m having a very different weekend today and ideally should be @Glastonbury but I will embrace whatever comes my way and enjoy my beautiful family.

Last week was the Summer Solstice and for the first year in many I was given the opportunity to fully embrace the special celebration starting off with my first open water swim in Hertford with the gorgeous Heather @pooltolake_openwater, wow what a wonderful experience, I swam slowly and took it all in. One of the things that kept coming into my mind was ‘why haven’t I done this before?’, but like everything in life it all happens at the right time for you and it was perfect timing.

In the evening I delivered my own Solstice meditation 🧘‍♀️’The longest light’ which enriched the energy of the sun’s rays with our own divine light, we flowed through a reflection, began to manifest an intention and connected light rays together, awesome.

Finally I tuned into the live coverage of ‘Stonehenge’ obviously there wasn’t a lot going on but I enjoyed filling my screen with the ancient stone circle and watching the sun go down, magic💫

Now is the time for new beginnings as we drift on through the summer and the second part of the year, ow is the time to rewrite your intentions and began to work with your inner self to manifest and now is the time to live, taste life, be alive and fill each day with whatever energy is flowing.

Now is a unique time of existence, whilst the earth rests we can reflect on what is awake. Allow yourself to bring quality into the moments that are normally rushed, bring depth into learning that is normally shallow, love with all your heart instead of half, explore every corner of you and your family, share everyone’s story and what they have within them, unveil the magic, then sit back and reflect on what you have created over the years, months, weeks, days, minutes, seconds. Feel proud for what you’ve achieved, fill your space with warmth, love, strength and resilience, we are making history, we are uniting as a whole to overcome this challenge we have not chosen but been given.

We may never experience these times again!

Finally I can see a blue sky!

That was a long winter but then I think every winter is long, I tend not to engage too much with the season as it’s my least favourite, I love clear skies, sunshine and if I’m lucky enough sand between my toes.

So a new season is finally upon us and we are most definitely returning to the light, there has been a lot of emphasis on this personally as I have survived a real dark zone, loosing my friend spiralled me down a hole but what I did learn is  that everyone has periods in their life where they will feel low, its not a crime, it’s natural. What matters is how we deal with those feelings, how we react and communicate the real cause. Talking is the single most effective way of beginning to heal yourself, keep talking to each other, it really isn’t done enough!

Indigo has been busy leading into March, I’ve been working on a few projects that are slowly starting to come together ready to share with you all! I’ve been back in the recording studio, planning a new business event, started a new psychotherapy course  and my diary for bookings this year is the busiest it’s been.

There is so much to look forward to not just for me and my business but in life, it’s there for the taking and I would wholeheartedly encourage anyone to make the sacrifices, make a plan and go for it.

What will be will be…….

Happy New Year! I know we’re a good way through January  but I haven’t written a post since October so I still feel its ok to wish you a HNY.

For me, the end of last year was such a mixture of emotions. I was working towards my first Spanish retreat full of enthusiasm, excitement and pride then in a heartbeat my world stopped when I had the devastating news that my friend had taken his own life.

I’ve always found a great passion in helping people with their mental health through meditation, holistic healing and just taking the time to talk to people by tuning into their energy using my intuition. However when my friend died I felt a heavy weight of guilt that I couldn’t help him and didn’t do enough to help him. This thought is lifting through participating in various healing sessions, sound baths and more, but it made me question my whole being, my philosophy, my drive and passion for the work I do.

I decided that until I have deeper knowledge I can not make the assumption that it was my responsibility to help alleviate his pain. This weekend was my first step towards making a positive move to understanding and additionally  gaining new skills to help others, I attended a two day course in ASIST – Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training with @theolliefoundation. This is the end of my client/therapist journey with anyone suffering, there is nowhere else to go so it seemed logical for me to attend and have the right tools in place to intervene if necessary.

I’d already decided to have a ‘what will be will be year’, but more so after this event, I’m spending my year tuning into energy, listening to my gut feeling, exploring messages and signs that present themselves and flowing with more of a natural vibe to see where life takes me. I feel strongly that this is part of my healing and will help me meet the right people, in the right places at the right time.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported, comforted, listened, advised and just been there for me over the last few months, you guys rock and I’m lucky to have you in my life!

15 Days to go………………..

Another reminder that ‘Indigo Retreat’ is happening! I’ve thought about delivering a retreat for a long time, I’ve consciously manifested it, sent out my intention for it and now it is a few weeks away.

I’m excited to be creating this time for people to come and experience a safe space to connect with their internal energies, embrace any negative repetitive patterns and let go of anything that no longer serves them.

There will be the opportunity to book for my next retreat shortly, in the meantime, stay true, stay strong and most importantly stay calm!

the future of meditation?

I had a future vision a few years back of how we need to merge technology with meditation, even though I thoroughly enjoy the earthy tones and roots of group work, I know eventually this will not be enough.

So when I was presented with a meditation ORRB event it was a ‘must see’ for me. I was pleasantly surprised by the space and depth inside the ORRB, the light complimented whatever chakra was being worked on and there was a small visual display unit that you could flow with if you didn’t want to close your eyes.

It was positive, it was different and I’m interested in exploring it further.

But for now……………I have some new times for my ‘Indigo Breathe’ course @BodyMechanix in Harpenden,
