Happy New Year!
2022 is very much welcome in my world, after surviving a month of covid before Christmas and still feeling the affects, a distraction of newness is greatly received. I’ve had various people asking me what I’ve got planned this year and the truth is………absolutely nothing. That’s right, I’ve no places to be, no one to meet and nothing booked.
I feel very liberated by this, as the year kicks off there’s a feeling that 2022 could be very exciting and I’m so looking forward to the journey of the unknown.
We kicked off the year with a beautiful full wolf moon, inviting us to come back home, to our hub, our security and roots. What we find there is familiarity and comfort, sitting in this will help us to have awareness of gratitude but also remind us that here we are safe, here we are loved and here we can return.
Spread your wings, create your world, play out your truth but always remember to touch base with the beginning!
Try not to make too many plans this year, go with the flow and see where it takes you.
‘There’s an abundance of wealth to be gathered up in the autumn breeze that refresh’s and embraces the season ahead. As the light fades from endless balmy nights of the summer, we prepare once more for the bronze flutters of reflection and intention moving through the final months of the year.’
I loved writing this guest blog, you can read the full version @WeAreHarpeden.
I’ve missed connecting with people through my words or even having the time to put pen to paper. Life has been busy these past few months and I’ve noticed that some areas of my life have been neglected, writing being one, connection with myself being another and finding the balance between what I love, what I do, what I have and what I need. Just reading that makes me breathe a little deeper!
The main thing, however is that regardless of my juggling act I am 100% being true to myself, true to my cause and following what I believe to be my true pathway in life. I spent along time searching for something that wasn’t there over the past few years and then when I changed my thought process the pathway changed direction and presented itself almost immediately, it was as if it had been waiting for me to make that change of direction.
Take the time to connect this Autumn, follow the guidance from my guest blog and let me know how you get on!
The continuous flow of life we go through is not given the justice it deserves, I’ve noticed that during the past few months I have began to live in a different way, start each day with a different routine and listen carefully to me. Something I have been unfamiliar with during my 45 year existence!
The peaceful mornings have gradually taken over my endless late nights and I have surprised myself (as well as everyone who knows me) to find a real heart felt connection with each new day, each waking dawn and every first ray of light. It is a beautiful time of the day and one which I cherish, what I love most is each one is different, each one reveals a different vibe and each one peels away another layer.
As we progress and unfold into our new lives, remember to continue with the new routines you have created for yourself, keep them close as they have guided you through the darkest hours, visit them often and merge them with your new ones.
Starting from Monday I’m delivering a series of my ‘#Morning Rise’ #meditations to embrace the ending and welcoming the beginning of new light, new strength and new energy. Join me every Monday from 6.30am on Insight Timer.
Stay calm and connected.
Can you feel it? Can you smell it? Can you see it?
We are emerging into a new era, it has been the longest time or so it seems, but I can see the beginning of the end. The sun has blessed us yet again with it’s powerful presence, and for me that’s all I need to feel my soul awakening.
The sun bears the significance of light, of warmth, of colour, it ignites nostalgia of summer’s gone by, endless evenings outside and today hope for the future.
We have all been evolving quietly behind the scenes, but soon we will reconnect once more, how do you feel about that? I have mixed emotions, part of me wants everything to stay the same but there’s a part of me that knows change must happen. I’m looking forward to having more input into the changes in my life, and for my family, we haven’t excelled or remained stagnant during this time but we have connected on a different level, with each other, with nature and with simplicity.
As my soul blossoms from the waves of new energy, I need to remind myself of my own journey, remind yourself of yours, reconnect slowly there’s no rush! Give yourself some time to unfold into this new light, taking each day as it comes.
We all know now that time is a great healer, allow time to guide you organically through this next chapter.
If you need some additional guidance with this please get in touch! Face to face and online healing are now available, as are meditation sessions.
Peace and Love
Happy New Year Everyone!
There is a great flow of excitement at Indigo as we begin the task of creating a year better than the last one but keeping grounded by the lessons we have learnt.
I am ready to set myself free to the rhythm of love and light, sharing my guidance with anyone who is ready to engage and journey with me.
Let me remind you all that you are in control of how you choose to exist, if something isn’t working for you change it, if something has been holding you back change it, if you are stuck in a cycle change it, it is all within you!
There is a lot of new beginnings this year and I will be updating my web and social platforms as much as possible to share them all with you, I’m kicking off the year with some free #meditation sessions, and later on in January I will be introducing #MENditation and #teenageflow.
How are you starting your year?
Make sure it’s a strong positive one!✌️&❤️
What a year!
When I look back on my January post I can’t quite believe what I wrote……’I’m having a what will be, will be year!’ I must of had a sixth sense.
Anyway here we are at the start of the last month of the year, December, a month full of magical wonders, celebration chocolates for breakfast, elf on the shelf, a tot of brandy to take away the chill, first name terms with the Amazon delivery man and much more, wow how do we survive the rest of the year?
My first reply to this is #Meditation (and my second vodka, lime and soda), I can honestly say that since deepening my practise a few years ago it is always my first choice to unwind, destress and reset. If you haven’t tried meditating before you really must, it’s amazing. To begin with it’s a very subtle change but with repetition and focus you can really shift your mindset making life, well more pleasant!
Indigo has some lovely #Christmas packages for everyone to enjoy this year all of which include personal meditation sessions, it’s a great starting point and a different type of present. Contact me directly for more details.
I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported Indigo this year, without you there is no business, I’m grateful for your commitment, input and allowing me to journey with you.
Have a beautiful Christmas and Peaceful New Year.
When I think of #stillness I think of the gracious Stag, the dewy eyes, the steaming nostrils, the glorious antlers. The stillness that encompasses the stag when caught in headlights is mesmerising, it’s almost hypnotising, it’s only happened to me once on a long journey up to Scotland with my brother years ago winding round country lanes taking no notice of our surroundings just wanting to ‘get there’ with a real impatience and then out of nowhere there was a stag inches away from the car bonnet, that moment right there has lasted a lifetime!
Do we ever create that stillness just on it’s own? It is something so simple and affective yet not many engage with it’s captivating power, so this month I challenge you all to start being still, take time each day to have 15 minutes of stillness, just look out the window or go and sit outside (wrap up before doing this one!)and do absolutely nothing. Free your mind and your body from everything, then see what comes up. I find when altering my daily routines I like to keep a reflective diary so I’m promoting this also, write down your stillness moments and see what flows your way!
This month we are finding ourselves in a second lockdown and to soften the blow I have spent some time creating a weekly schedule for meditation, check out the #4weekmembership page and join the Indigo community. All sessions are online and vary in time, but I guarantee there will be a day and time that suits everyone.
Look after each other in the next phase of time, create peace and calm, try new things, read, walk and most importantly stay connected.
Peace and Love.
Is your light shining brightly? After months of dullness it’s time to sparkle and revel again, let’s begin to peel away the layers that we have barricaded ourselves in and make way for new experiences, fresh ideas and transformation into this new way of living.
Breaking free from old habits and structure is scary, it will take you to places you’ve not been before but the impact of connecting with yourself is a force that will ignite that inner energy column and propel you into another world.
There is no better time to learn how to meditate, it’s not just for us hardcore tree huggers, shamanic drummers and turnip shoe wearers it is an essential life skill that everyone should engage with in their lifetime.
Take your pick on how and where, then practice everyday and keep practicing until you feel the change.
I’m offering both online and live meditation sessions, online courses and workshops to help guide you to fulfilment and freedom, start at the beginning and keep things simple, work with what you have and build as you flow.
‘If you don’t go within, you go without!’
Keep checking in for Indigo news and updates.
I just wrote my last post for a few weeks and it dawned on me that this has been the longest period of time I’ve worked without taking a break, it’s also been the longest time since I’ve been anywhere really. However I have been lucky enough to enjoy my open water swimming, connect with loads of new people online, I’ve enjoyed a virtual forest bath, Reggae yoga and took part in a Global healing meditation, I’ve also completed 2 courses and made a good start with a third, even though I thought I was coasting along through this pandemic I’ve actually done quite a lot on reflection.
Anyway….I’m taking a break until September, I’m going exploring in forgotten trails that tripped me into a new life many moons ago, where I found love, strength and a rock. I’ll be breathing in the air that once filled my lungs so deeply I never thought I could leave and when I did I realised a part of that air would always stay with me.
I’m hoping for tastes, textures, adventure and more, I need to refill my tank that has been approaching empty, watch the sun rise, read, create, run, swim, cycle and just flow through the days with the energy I have.
Then I’ll be ready for September! I need to be with so much going on, I have new courses, workshops and a new online meditation session. My work has adapted so much over the past 6 months but I pleased with how it’s flowing and I’m looking forward to the next 6 months.
If you would like to book on any of the courses or workshops please follow the ‘Healing’ page to the payment section, there you will find all the courses, workshops and online sessions.
Equally if you have any queries or questions to ask me please do not hesitate to contact me.
Enjoy the rest of your summer!
I’m having a very different weekend today and ideally should be @Glastonbury but I will embrace whatever comes my way and enjoy my beautiful family.
Last week was the Summer Solstice and for the first year in many I was given the opportunity to fully embrace the special celebration starting off with my first open water swim in Hertford with the gorgeous Heather @pooltolake_openwater, wow what a wonderful experience, I swam slowly and took it all in. One of the things that kept coming into my mind was ‘why haven’t I done this before?’, but like everything in life it all happens at the right time for you and it was perfect timing.
In the evening I delivered my own Solstice meditation 🧘♀️’The longest light’ which enriched the energy of the sun’s rays with our own divine light, we flowed through a reflection, began to manifest an intention and connected light rays together, awesome.
Finally I tuned into the live coverage of ‘Stonehenge’ obviously there wasn’t a lot going on but I enjoyed filling my screen with the ancient stone circle and watching the sun go down, magic💫
Now is the time for new beginnings as we drift on through the summer and the second part of the year, ow is the time to rewrite your intentions and began to work with your inner self to manifest and now is the time to live, taste life, be alive and fill each day with whatever energy is flowing.
Have a beautiful weekend✌️&❤️
